Sameirinhos are small boat-shaped pastries with a thin, crisp shell. At the centre sits a moist egg-yolk and almond filling, its golden colour visible between the raised sides.
Their delicate scale and contrast between brittle shell and rich convent-style filling distinguish them from tarts and queijadas. They are presented as a genuinely Braga speciality associated with Sameiro.
