Rosquilha de Argozelo is a small-to-medium thick ring with a rough, golden-yellow surface. It is a firm dry cake, lightly crisp both outside and within, with a pronounced aroma of egg, citrus and aguardente.
It combines two wheat flours with eggs, olive oil and butter. The dough is beaten vigorously, rises until well developed and is shaped into thick rings that retain their flavour for several months.
